What is UV DTF Printing?

UV DTF, or Ultra Violet Direct-to-Film, is a specialty transfer process designed for decorating hard, smooth surfaces. Designs are printed in full color onto a film using UV-cured inks, then applied directly onto the finished product.

Unlike traditional DTF, UV DTF does not require heat or a heat press. The adhesive-backed transfer can be applied by hand to compatible surfaces, making it an efficient solution for customizing a wide variety of products.

How UV DTF Works

PRINT
Your artwork is printed in full color onto a specialized UV DTF film using UV-cured inks.

LAMINATE
A clear adhesive film is applied over the printed design, creating the finished transfer.

PEEL
The transfer is separated from its backing and positioned onto the desired surface.

APPLY
Press the transfer firmly onto the surface, then remove the carrier film to reveal the finished design.
